Meditation “…that we create by “singing’ things into being and form. …a music that is not simply heard but felt throughout one’s body and consciousness. It is life-energy in rhythmic motion and activity. Blending with the anwa of another, whether that other is a stone, or tree, animal, Sidhe (pronounced she) or human, has correspondence to blending harmoniously with another’s voice in a choir. You find an arrangement that suits you both ad lets your voices-or your anwa- blend in chords of mutual unfoldment and expression. Each things anwa is its song of life and being; it contains its form and its dreams, what it has been, what it is, and what it seeks to become…..All our creation is a form of song as we blend our vibrations with those of our world to bring new anwa into being around which new forms may crystalize and condenses. …represents creative relationship and the bringing forth of new life and form into the world.” As spoken by Mariel in Card Deck of the Sidhe Manualby David Spangler

Closing PrayerSt. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi Prayer

Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy, And where there is sadness, joy, joy, joy. God grant that I may not so much seek; To be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born, to Eternal Life. Amen, Amen, Amen

Benediction               Blessing Song           by Miriam Therese Winters

Luke 9:51-62 The New Inclusive New Testament , Priests for Equality

As the time approached when he was  to be taken up from this world.. Jesus firmly resolved to proceed toward Jerusalem. 52And he sent messengers ahead of him. They entered a Samaritan town  to make preparations for him; 53but the Samaritans wouldn’t welcome Jesus because his destination was Jerusalem. 54When the disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Rabbi, do you want us to command fire to come down from heaven and destroy them?” 55But Jesus turned and reprimanded them. 56Then they went on to another town.

57As they were making their way along, they met a fellow traveler who said to Jesus. “I’ll follow you wherever you go.”

Jesus replied, “Foxes have lairs, the birds of the sky have nests, but the Chosen One has nowhere to rest.”

To another traveler Jesus said, “Follow me.”

The traveler replied, “Let me bury my father first.”

Jesus said in return, “let the dead bury the dead; you go and proclaim the reign of God everywhere.”

Yet another traveler approached Jesus in this way: “I’ll be your follower, Rabbi, but first let me say good bye to my people at home.”

Jesus answered. Whoever puts a hand to the plow but keeps looking back is unfit for the reign of God.”

Invitations: Our current ecologic crisis is a call to awaken to the reverence of life and the truth that all nature is alive and sacred. As we witness the sixth extinction of life on earth, the only one created by us humans, we are invited to reclaim the ancient wisdom traditions. We are one organic, interspecies, interconnected whole.   What we do affects everyone else. Every Sunday at 5 pm we acknowledge that we need one another more than ever before . and commune with the Great  Spirit. We celebrate  the  wisdom traditions from  the East, West, indigenous peoples,  new science as we study the teachings of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and the Bible and  the newly found gnostic gospels.
